I can't believe this is my 16th year of teaching!
I teach grades K-6 in general music at Bennet Elementary along with the 5th-6th grade choir -"Bennet Singers." At the Jr/Sr High I teach Junior High choir and High School choir, who can be heard singing the National Anthem at home sporting events. Our school also has a show choir for grades 9-12 which meets before school. Every-other year we produce a musical. Recent musicals have included Wizard of Oz, Annie, and Seussical the Musical. Our choral music program continues to grow each year and I am extremely pleased with the sounds that our choirs produce! I'm looking forward to this season!
I graduated from UNL in 2000, and I am currently working towards my Masters in Music Education degree from UNL as well. When I'm not at school I also enjoy baking; fishing; gardening; and spending time with my two dogs: Luna and the new puppy Daisy. I am married to my wonderful husband Chad, and we live in Lincoln.
