I am Rebecca Cunningham.   I was born in Fredonia, PA, number 11 of 12 kids, five girls and seven boys.  I moved to Lincoln, NE the day after I graduated from high school.  I attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln with a BS in 7-12 Home Economics.  At that time I moved to South Dakota and taught at Harding County High School in Buffalo for two years.  Then I moved east to St. Mary’s High School in Dell Rapids, S.D.  for one year.

I then moved back to Lincoln, NE, to get married.  My husband Don and I still live in Lincoln.  I worked to years as a cake decorator for Mettler Bakery.   I taught at Pius X High School in Lincoln, NE, for five years, leaving there to get a master’s degree in Home Economics Curriculum.

I have enjoyed teaching at Palmyra Jr/Sr High School for the last 19 years.  During this time I have enjoyed working with the FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America).

I have worked for Walgreen for the past 27 years part time in different areas.  I also enjoy: cooking, baking, cake decorating, sewing, the outdoors-gardening, lawn work and camping.
