Palmyra FFA tops in Agriscience at State Convention
The Palmyra FFA Chapter attended the 90th State FFA Convention April 4-6, in Lincoln. The Chapter participated in Contests, attended Leadership workshops and convention sessions at Pinnacle Bank Arena and UNL East Campus. There were over 7,000 members and guests in attendance at the convention.

Livestock Judging: 24th-Blue Ribbon; Cole Cooper-Blue, Madysen Cox-Red, Kate Zakaras- Red , Casey Kopf
Welding- 20th Red Ribbon; Briley Luff Arc- Red, Shane White Oxy/ac- Red, Ryan Hoover-Mig
Environmental Resources- Red Ribbon- Michael Rempel- Blue Ribbon, Kord Haight- White, Lane Glantz- White, Kylee Synovec
Palmyra FFA Members Kord Haight, Ryan Hoover, Baylor Lippold and Tyson Martens received the State FFA Degree with over 600 senior members at the Friday awards session. They were able to complete a successful Supervised Agricultural Experience, participate in community service hours and accomplish the leadership activities required to reach the degree level. It is the highest degree level awarded to State FFA members who have met the requirements.
