Time Capsule and Historical Marker are Both Safe
Launch the media gallery 1 playerTwo important Bennet artifacts are safe and sound amidst the hustle and bustle of current Bennet activities. Although the time capsule will not be opened for another decade or so, it found sancuary in the closets of Bennet Elementary during the 2016 remodel and addition of the elementary campus. Current plans are to once again bury the capsule after the Spring thaw.
Also safe is the historical marker honoring education leadership dating back nearly 100 years. It shows some wear and tear; however, the marker has held up remarkebly well. It, too, will be placed back into the ground upon warmer weather.
